Welcome to Dragon-tear.net! The largest English Breath of Fire fansite. Breath of Fire is a console RPG series made by Capcom(started in 1992) that can be found on SNES, PS1, and PS2.
The "Dragon Tear" was an item in Breath of Fire II that was given to Valerie by her father so she would never lose her way. It is said to decipher the hearts of others and their feelings toward you.

I got mine from VGMworld.com as well, last Friday. I finally got it home yesterday (Friday- had a lot of errands to run and didn't want to damage the box or was it the freaking $300 ULTRA RARE 'Zelda Sound and Drama soundtrack', OYE VAY!!!). I remember hearing about this on JP fansite late last year. I wanted it then, but considering that I already had soundtracks 3-5 I wasn't sure I would take the leap until this year 2 weeks ago when I found myself really taking a good look. Two discs for 1-2, and 3 for 3? I had always knew that there were tunes missing from 3 but, THAT MANY??? To be honest I really would have just preferred 1-3. But I'm happy that I now have a complete collection. Had to rearrange my game soundtracks just to fit it in with the rest. I'll just go through the box at some point and see if all the tunes are on the old purchases. I'll probably just give my friend 3 & 4, since he has 5. I guess, with all the BOF stuff I own and after buying this boxset I am now offically

hey i found a forum on this site just the other night and cannot find it now but it was about in BoF3 that you supposedly cannot beat Berserker and ArchMage unless you have a party at least Lv.50 im still working on beating ArchMage but i did take out Berserker with Ryu Lv. 47, Rei Lv.42, and Nina Lv.34...unfortunately with Warrior Dragon and Were Tiger it was still insanely hard, Ryu was the only one left standing when Berserker died my jaw hit the ground cuz Ryu got 30,000 EXP!!!! yay he is now Lv.49...so i managed to do what some thought to be impossible.

Ok Sinzuna, look at the top of the page. look to the left. There is a column of words. The second one right after Quizzes and right before Translations, its the big white words that say forum.

I bought one of these myself, but mine came from Ebay. I'm told these are limited to only 2000 copies, is it true? If so, is the little paper insert (other than the booklet) the one that shows what number of 2000 you have? Mine says 425.

2, 3, 4, and 5 give lots of music, but not the first game. To get the BoF2 soundtrack you gotta invite Sumner to TownShip, and the other three games have to be beaten first to get all of their music. Even then, they don't actually give EVERY song... this album will save a lot of effort. :)

And now the BoF III stats are finished. Heights, weights, specialties and everything.

It was erased by the incompetent retards at the hosting company. I put up a backup of the data file, but it's four months old so you'll probably have to resend any new pictures.

I'll be keeping backups more frequently to make sure this doesn't happen again.

personality: Ryu 5 (he has the most modern style persona)

    Minor update:

    Translated some info on the BoF 1 characters - now you can see their hobbies. And added the blood types of the BOF 2 characters, for whatever that's worth. And once again some broken links were fixed (the BoF 2 commercial is back up).

    You'll have to pardon the spontaneous link-breakings, this hosting service often 'loses' files and subdomain references for no reason.

Fixed the portraits for the BoF1 char page. Make sure you save the new file or something :P It keeps reverting the Older Nina picture to the SNES one, which I don't want.

    I just added a bunch of scans to all the galleries except BoF V. I'm not up for listing them in this update, so I just updated the Gallery code so the most recent pictures will show up first.
    A few fixes - the Media sections now have their links fixed, though I couldn't find some of the video files for the commercials. But I did add a few song files I came across while searching. And the Fanart board is now compatible with the Opera browser, which was having alignment troubles.

I have to say this is a really great addition to anyone's collection, especially BOF fans. Although, it took them how long to collect a majority of the images that are found in the other books released in this one. So if you missed out on the other releases this is an excellent one to have. Also, includes the new art from the GBA games. My only gripe with this book was that they didn't include the preliminary designs for 'Ryu' from BOF 3. Considering that those images popped up in game mag some years ago, and have never seen the light of day again. Though 'Nina's design appeared. It's a big book I'll tell you with lots of images and extra stuff. I had always hoped that one day 'Capcom' would release a collected works for this series and this is probably the closest it gets.
