The Kharne project is currently undergoing what can only be described as severe turbulance. Whether another version of Kharne ever comes out remains to be seen. We are currently re-writing the entire game, so we hope to have something tangible in the future.

Kharne: The Revelation is a freeware Roguelike CRPG for Windows written entirely in Borland Delphi, based on TSR's famous D&D Fantasy Gaming System. Kharne: The Revelation was formely known as Shadowdale. Kharne: The Revelation is entirely graphical - it uses Graphical Tiles (drawn by David Gervais) instead of ASCII characters, and takes advantage of the Windows Interface in implementing features like drag-and-drop inventories, and point-and-click spellcasting and ranged combat.
